Peter Flanigan
Peter Flanigan is a Senior Attorney at Feig Finkel LLP. Peter focuses on motion picture and television work, representing filmmakers, writers, directors, actors, producers and production companies.
Previously, Peter was a Business Affairs executive at Fifth Season, a Senior Counsel at Paramount Pictures and worked for several entertainment boutique law firms in Los Angeles and New York including Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin Dunham LLP, Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP, Eric Feig Entertainment & Media Law, Inc. and Emerson E. Bruns, PLLC.
Peter has performed production counsel services on numerous motion pictures, television shows and new media projects. A select filmography includes “Nonnas”, “Coming To America 2”, “Like A Boss”, “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey”, “Mother and Child” and “The Jane Austen Book Club”.
Peter is also a passionate advocate for environmental responsibility in the entertainment industry and presented on the Berlinale Panel “Film Goes Green – Sustainability in Film Production” and published a note in the UCLA Entertainment Law Review entitled “The Environmental Cost of Filmmaking”.
Outside of his law career, Peter has produced numerous musicals and plays through Bucket List Theatre and is an avid golfer, runner and hiker. Peter is a graduate of Hamilton College (B.A., 2000) and William & Mary School of Law (J.D., 2003). Peter is licensed in California and New York.
