Harry Finkel
Harry Finkel is an attorney, film producer and business strategist serving clients internationally. His direct business and legal experience is in the areas of production, single picture/slate finance, sales/distribution, licensing agreements and intellectual property matters. Harry’s active work as a producer (most recently, After the Wedding starring Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams, State of Consciousness starring Emile Hirsch) gives him a unique business perspective on legal issues facing producers, financiers, on-camera and behind-the-camera talent in the film, television and digital media industries.
Harry has also served as legal counsel and an executive board member for Guitars in the Classroom, a nonprofit that provides instruments and training to teachers and students nationwide to help integrate music into the general educational curriculum. He also serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster kids in L.A. County. Additionally, Harry is a panel attorney with California Lawyers for the Arts.
Harry is admitted to practice law in California. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and B.A. in Film Production and Music Business from Hofstra University in New York. In his spare time, Harry enjoys writing comedy, playing drums and creative collaboration.
